The low-information diet, selective ignorance and the 80/20 principle. It all makes sense… Thanks Tim, your info has really helped me… 🙂 I have your book, Tools of Titans. It’s long, kinda funny, and has bits and pieces of truth and insight scattered across the book. However, The 4 – hour work week is better I think, at least the first half of it, which explains all of your key ideas…
1. the low-information diet, and how it can help to positively affect your mental focus
2. selective ignorance, and how to block out distractions and negativity from your life
3. The 80/20 principle, and how usually, only a small percentage of your effort reaps the most of the results if and when you don’t pay attention to this principle (it has a little bit to do with peas)… 🙂

The 4 Hour Work Week is my preferred recommendation because it basically sums everything up neatly in a fun to read and intriguing way.
Tools of Titans is cool, because you get the opinions and insights of quite a few highly successful individuals. That’s basically what the book is: interviews with successful people that Tim had on his podcast and all of the notes from those interviews.
So, just so you know, The 4 – Hour Work Week really is good information for anyone interested in furthering themselves in life. It also teaches you to do what inspires you (what you love) as well. That’s part of the reason I like it so much. 🙂 Kinda helped me redevelop some lost interests that I was really good at, and still am.. 🙂 So… That’s why I’m sharing it on here. 🙂
